The pants are new, never issued. Made by Government contractors Quality Apparel Manufacturing, Inc. and Menlo Industries, Inc.for the U.S. Military in the mid 1980's. Genuine Government Issue Field Pants were intended to be worn over pants or can be worn alone. Adjustable side tabs. Snap-down hand warmer, rear and bellows cargo pockets all with hidden snap closure. Ankle drawstrings, zipper fly, button waist, suspender loops and buttons. Heavy duty 50% Cotton/50% Nylon. Built to last under extreme conditions. Condition: New The size Small/Regular pants are marked for a waist size of 27" to 31". Inseam 29 1/2 to 32 1/2". NATO Size 7583/6979. The actual natural waist is 31" and can be tightened down to app. 27" with the side adjustment straps. Actual inseam is app. 32 1/2".
